HELP!!!!! assign a  user 2 to see subfolder only
User 1 wants User 2 to only view the sub folder in User 1's mailbox. The sub folder is under inbox. Is there a way that i can have User 2 only view the sub folder only with out the inbox mail being visible to them. User 1 does not want is inbox seen by the other user HELP!. I tried to add the folder and change permission but the sub folder doesn't show up in User 2 computer.

Hi, Are you using Outlook to share the folder? Try share the subfolder only by the following steps: 1. Share the User 1's mailbox. Add User 2 and set the Permission Level to Reviewer. 2. Right click the Inbox and click 'Change Sharing Permissions'. Add User 2 and change the permission level to None. Repeat this step to other folders that you do not want to share. 3. Right click the sub folder which you want to share with user 2 and click 'Change Sharing Permissions'. Add User 2 and change the permission level to Reviewer. User 2 still can see the Index folder but its content is blank. I have tested the steps above with Outlook 2007 and it works.
